Through counseling, I strive to help individuals work through any challenges they may be experiencing and toward their individual mental health goals. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, young adults, the young at heart, and the LGBTQ+ community. Some of my focus areas include anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, emotional regulation and awareness, and life adjustments. I utilize different therapeutic approaches best suited for each individual client, including cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered theory, dialectical behavioral therapy, and positive psychology. I aim to aid in the development and maintenance of effective coping skills and adaptive behaviors in clients. I lead with authenticity and positive regard for all clients, with the intention of creating a safe and inviting space for clients to freely express themselves and process anything they may be experiencing. Life’s difficult moments and struggles need not be handled alone. Whether you are looking to process a trauma, find a safe space to talk, or anything in between, I would love to work with you. Searching for help is a powerful first step, and I hope to join you on the rest of your mental health journey.
