Life's greatest challenges usually come during times of transition and change. It's when we are forced to accept and adapt a new way of thinking and/or living that we find ourselves unraveling and losing all sense of control of what we once knew...or thought we knew. I have spent the greater part of my career working with individuals who live with various neurological conditions such as Huntington's Disease, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Neuropathy and many others. I have helped not only the person living with the disease, but their care giver/s as well. I work with adults and seniors predominately. I take great joy in helping individuals understand their strengths and weaknesses and manage life with chronic illness both individual and caregiver. In addition to talk therapy I provide case management where appropriate such as linking to community resources, assistance with navigating health care and assessment of entitlements and long term planning. I feel honored each time someone entrusts me with letting into their personal struggles. I take great pride in being able to build a trusting therapeutic relationship while working together on finding what your vision of peace is for yourself during this life time.
