Therapists » Marriage & Family Therapist
I provide teletherapy to clients in Pennsylvania and California (I am licensed in both states). I work with adults (18-65) who are struggling with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, acute stress, substance use, and challenges with interpersonal relationships, major life transitions, coming out, gender, and queer identity development. I use EMDR therapy and client-centered, mindfulness-based, cognitive-behavioral interventions to support people in healing from traumatic experiences and unresolved grief by helping them reprocess disturbing, burdensome memories so that they become less intrusive, distracting, and painful. Each client brings unique experiences, goals, strengths, questions, and problems to therapy. Therefore, therapy constantly presents new opportunities for creative change, learning about oneself and others, and cultivating compassion for oneself and others. The conversations and processing that take place in therapy draw on the client's and therapist’s respective expertises and knowledge to co-create new experiences and narratives that help reorganize the client’s thinking, behavior, and resources to facilitate the client’s healing, personal growth, and progress towards life goals and self-actualization.
