I view therapy as a precious investment of your values and vulnerabilities, so I aim to honor that investment with my commitment to your well-being. Through a nonjudgmental, authentic and compassionate stance, I strive to create a safe and collaborative space for you to explore sensitive issues, experiment with new behaviors, and work towards what matters to you. Whether you'd like to improve the quality of your relationship(s) or address mental health challenges, such as anxiety, including OCD, depression, loss, life transition, trauma and addiction, I will wholeheartedly support your efforts in fulfilling these goals. My primary approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, of which I’m also a trainer for mental health professionals. ACT is an evidence-based practice that promotes the engagement of one's values along with skills to effectively navigate difficult thoughts and feelings. I'm also trauma-informed and trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. To best meet your needs or goals and ensure a good fit, whether as an individual or couple, I invite you to reach out to introduce yourself and ask questions about my approach and what you can expect from working with me. I genuinely welcome people of all cultural and intersectional diversities and aim to remain openly curious and sensitive.
