About

Clients often come into therapy for help with symptoms of anxiety/depression. brought on by changes in circumstances or life transitions. In some cases we discover that the symptoms have a longer history extending back to childhood and adolescence and events that occurred both inside and outside their families. Relationships are a special focus. I help clients better understand what has gone wrong for them in relationships through education in attachment styles and reducing interpersonal conflict. I teach clients how to set healthy boundaries in relationships by setting guidelines and learning assertive communication skills. View 4 Photos

I have specialized training in CBT and ACT which are highly effective in treating anxiety and depression. I have completed level I certificate training in treating trauma and have done extensive work with clients with complex trauma who have hurts from the past that cause oversized reactions to events in the present. Relationships are a specialty focus.

It takes a lot of trust to open your world to a stranger. I take that trust seriously and consider it a privilege to join my clients in their lives in this special way. Please visit my website to read reviews by clients to get a better idea of the work I do and the impact of therapy in their lives. I consider my practice to be a curated experience.
