Who am I? What happened to me? Why am I here? How do I go on? These are common questions many people pose to themselves. Where do you find your hope? I am a counselor who has a heart for meeting you where you are, instilling hope, and making counseling a positive experience. You will find nonjudgmental understanding and encouragement, as well as guidance to help you meet your goals. I believe it is important to find your joy and purpose through this journey called life. No matter where you find yourself currently, I'm excited to share this journey with you! I have been working with teens, families, & adults in various roles (pre/post-licensure) for 27 years. I strive to make sure that everyone who comes into the therapy session feels comfortable working with me & has a voice in the therapy process. You matter and there is hope! We will work together to find the best version of you. I have many years experience working with teens and adults, addictions, suicidality, and family systems. I also treat trauma issues & LGBTQ+-related issues (LGBTQ+-affirming). The first session will be an assessment, to understand current & past issues & make an appropriate recommendation, as well as collaboratively establish counseling goals.
