Lori Murphy, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Hi, I'm Lori, I have over 25 years' experience working with individuals, couples and families. I am passionate about helping people overcome challenges so they can life to the fullest. I believe brave, healthy people seek counseling and I provide a safe, compassionate experience that allows healing and growth. I specialize in working with individuals, couples and families with older teens. I understand the military culture and work with active-duty military and veterans and their families. I tailor my therapeutic approach to your needs. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care among several other theoretical approaches. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them identify and reach their goals in a warm, accepting and caring environment. I have a calm and caring demeanor. I often am told by clients that they feel safe, supported and never judged. I know it's a big step reaching out for help so my clients set the pace while I provide the expertise and knowledge to keep the process of healing moving forward.
