Hello, my name is Lorena, I am a Masters level Licensed Social Worker. I have worked with adults of all walks of life, in different stages of their lives. I have worked directly with clients facing depression, anxiety, isolation, trauma, grief, conflictive peer relationships, generational trauma, first generation trauma/guilt, self esteem, and other social emotional barriers of life. I utilize a client-centered approach when working with my clients by using appropriate therapeutic approaches such as: motivational interviewing, family systems, CBT, integrative and trauma focused modalities. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and have an understanding of cultural norms and topics associated within the culture. I practice with a strong belief in hope for the future and in the infinite power of a healed soul.
