About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Texas. I work with adults and older adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, and stress. I have extensive experience with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in English and in Spanish, and have worked with vulnerable populations as a Social Worker for over 5 years. My approach to treatment is rooted in evidence-based practice that help clients identify and focus on their goals to change unhealthy ways into more productive habits. I have cultivated my CBT and Motivational Interviewing skills into a crucial part of my practice for my patients' success and progress.

I have excelled in my practice because I am passionate about helping my patients realize their own personal goals and help them begin the journey in achieving those goals. My unique cultural view and experience in the Hispanic community allows me to engage with sensitive topics with more cultural context.

My main goals for my patients include learning how to manage one’s emotions and establishing boundaries and goals in a way that will make my patients become successful in their daily lives. I believe that in my practice, my patients can create the meaningful lives they wish to have.
