Hi! I’m Liset, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (86352). I am based in Upland and work with clients statewide via telehealth. I am a first-generation, Mexican American who provides therapy services in English and Spanish. I provide therapy with a client-centered, collaborative, and culturally competent approach. My therapeutic style is eclectic, drawing from various evidence-based practices to tailor interventions to each client's unique needs. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic alliance and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. I aim to provide a space where goal setting is client-centered, collaborative, and adaptable, with a focus on empowering clients to take ownership of their therapeutic journey and work towards meaningful and sustainable change. During a client's first session with me, they can expect a warm and welcoming environment. The initial session is focused on building rapport and establishing a strong therapeutic alliance. I encourage open dialogue and active participation, inviting clients to share their reasons for seeking therapy, their goals, and any concerns they may have.
