About

My passion is helping people who feel their best self is stuck by trauma, depression or anxiety, learn to access and trust their wisdom on the path towards healing. The approach I use is collaborative and multidisciplinary, utilizing EMDR, psycho-education, CBT, art therapy, guided imagery, and energy work to help patients let go of their negative beliefs and create balance and authenticity in their lives. My ideal client is one who is navigating emerging adulthood, searching to heal from significant trauma or managing challenging life transitions. I am licensed in North Carolina and Georgia

I am EMDR certified. EMDR is a cognitive based therapy that relies on an individual's own strengths and abilities to heal themselves from negative beliefs. It is useful in treating trauma and phobias as well as enhancing artistic and athletic performance. I am an art therapist and utilize art to explore deep issues.

I believe strongly in the creative process and often assign art or writing homework designed to increase personal wisdom and self-expression. Every suggestion or assignment made is in service to increasing self-awareness and personal growth.
