Sometimes, we just need someone outside those struggles to help get us through. Dr. Elieson has experience with individual, marriage, family, and adolescent counseling, and specialties in depression, anxiety, women's issues, relationships, sexuality, and communication as well as a faith-based approach. She is licensed to provide counseling services in Texas, Utah, and Florida. Dr. Elieson has a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Lousiana at Monroe, and a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Texas Women's University. She is a LPC-Supervisor in Texas and a CMHC in Utah. She has completed Level 1, 2, & 3 Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She iis an AASECT Sex Therapist and a Certified Sexologist. Counseling is a team process - Dr. Elieson brings to the session some perspective on how life works, while recognizing that the client is the expert on their own life. Her style as a counselor tends to be supportive and caring, but also assertive when identifying issues.
