I began my career in Education after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Instructional and Curriculum Leadership from the University of Memphis. After teaching experiences in Early Childhood Education, I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. I bring to the table a wide variety of experiences in private practice, residential treatment, inpatient hospitalization, and school-based behavioral health services. A relationship-based framework to promote Trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, behavioral modification, and family systems support is at the apex of my clinical approach. Most recently, I've expanded my repertoire of support services to include classroom behavioral consultation within the school system and educator behavioral health training. My personal view and foundation of practices stems from theorist Erik Erikson who stated, “There is in every child at every stage a new miracle of vigorous unfolding, which constitutes a new hope and a new responsibility for all.”
