For many, the teenage years can bring on a variety of changes and challenges, both physically as well as socially and emotionally. Since 2015, I have worked as a public school counselor, with teenagers grades 9-12, addressing their individual academic, social, and emotional needs. I also have a great deal of experience in both college admissions and secondary education counseling. My expertise includes assisting adolescents in the transition periods from middle school into high school as well as transitioning out of high school through the post-secondary planning process. I work with individuals helping them to explore both two and four year institutions as well as trade school, career and military opportunities. My primary focus is guiding adolescents to find the best fit to meet their unique strengths, needs and preferences and am committed to tailoring each planning process accordingly. In addition to being a licensed School Counselor in the state of Connecticut, I also am a Licensed Professional Counselor.
