When faced with life’s unavoidable stressors, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. The struggles of day to day life can often leave individuals feeling frustrated, hopeless, and powerless to work towards change. I enjoy helping clients feel understood and overcome fears that have been preventing them from living life to its fullest. Sometimes simply knowing that the worst case scenario won’t destroy us makes a daunting goal seem more attainable. My approach to therapy is integrative, including elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as Relational Theory. By working with me, you will find that I focus on creating a balance between warm, empathetic support and motivational encouragement to help clients achieve those tasks that feel impossible. It is important to me that my clients leave each session feeling hopeful and with a better understanding of themselves and their environment. I especially enjoy working with young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and relationship/family stress.
