I understand that starting treatment can be difficult. That's why my goal as a therapist is to create a supportive and empathetic environment so that patients can feel as comfortable as possible navigating life's stressors. I believe that therapy is a collaborative effort between patient and therapist where together we will explore patterns, repetitive behaviors/thoughts and how traumatic experiences have shaped your decisions, beliefs and relationships. The therapeutic relationship can assist you in living more mindfully and help you challenge negative thought patterns. I have extensive work experience with individuals and families navigating diagnoses ranging from depression, anxiety, body image issues, PTSD, and grief. I utilize psychodynamic and supportive strategies as well as evidence based approaches such as CBT and DBT. I look forward to starting this journey together.
