It can be scary, overwhelming, or even shameful to get help, however, this is the first crucial step in your healing process. You might be depressed, anxious, angry, or afraid, but what I’ve come to understand is every feeling is there to teach you something valuable. Feelings are gateways to your inner wisdom so you can see things clearly; they can guide you toward your true path and help you make better decisions for yourself. They are what make us human and allow us to connect to each other so we can have better relationships and therefore happier lives. I mainly work with feelings to help you become more comfortable while getting to the root cause of problems. I use a psychodynamic approach to focus on things you’re doing unconsciously to increase awareness about your behaviors so you can start to change them. If you can see what’s broken, then you can fix it. I have experience working with trauma survivors and a multitude of issues around relationships, anxiety, depression and anger. I can help you learn how to be in the driver’s seat so you are in control and feel empowered to change your life around. I hope this has resonated with you and look forward to being part of your journey.
