Dr. Linda Simmons is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. She is passionate about helping adults achieve healing and greater life fulfillment. Dr. Simmons specializes in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, pain management, relationship issues, faith issues, and major life transitions. She sees psychotherapy as a collaborative process with her clients, providing education and expert guidance, and encouraging clients to reach their goals. Psychotherapy is not a one-size-fits-all process and she will change her approach per client's needs. Dr. Simmons earned her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Truman University. Dr. Simmons has continued her training and received certification in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). None of us escapes the challenges life brings. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, Dr. Simmons has seen many of these challenges herself. Having someone with expert skills, empathy, compassion, and a strong desire to help walk with you in your journey will allow you a safe place to learn coping skills, gain a new perspective, and heal.
