I work with people who are experiencing pain, grief, anxiety, or confusion - who need help identifying what they want to change. I offer you a safe, supportive time and place. In this confidential space you can be listened to deeply, and you can learn how to listen to yourself. Together, we can nurture a healing connection, or reconnection, to your own wisdom and guidance. My ideal client is one who is open and motivated, who has a deep desire for self-awareness and self-change, and who perceives psychotherapy as part of a process of spiritual growth.
In this exploration, we will use listening and talking, role play, drawing, writing, and dreamwork. I am also trained in a technique called EMDR which helps to process current and past experiences - even traumatic ones - deeply and rapidly. It is a catalyst for identifying and transforming blocks to well-being.
I like to work experientially whenever possible. And I like to work deeply rather than just on brief solutions to outer problems. This work teaches you how to maintain your self-awareness and to continue growing after therapy ends.
