I am Leslie Weber, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I have always been a therapist, but I haven’t always been a counselor. My career began as an Occupational Therapist, working in many settings with young and old clients: in schools, hospitals, geriatric care centers, and lastly in a forensic mental health facility. I learned so much from all my clients, and mental health was involved in every interaction. It was at the core of every successful outcome. Once I realized this, I transitioned my career from a therapist to a counselor. View 5 Photos I completed my Bachelor of Science (BS) in Occupational Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. I then completed my Master of Science (MS) in Professional Counseling at Concordia University Wisconsin. I am a problem-solver. I love puzzles and games: logic puzzles, block puzzles, solitaire, and even crossword puzzles in which I have to look up answers. I enjoy figuring things out. I excel at taking the mess of pieces and determining where everything goes so that it makes sense. The same is true for me as a counselor.
