When people think "therapist", they tend to picture someone who looks like Sigmund Freud, with a tweed jacket and half-rim glasses asking "And how does that make you feel?" Stuffy, awkward, and someone who's just out of touch. I can assure you, I am definitely Not That. Some of my adolescent clients (and my colleagues, honestly) have described me as "a purple-haired gremlin" and "a goblin in a spinny-chair". If you're ready to work with someone who brings a lot of authenticity and slightly less caffeine, look no further. Like my personality and fashion sense, my therapeutic style can be best described as "eclectic". I pull from many different resources and models in order to grab the tools that work best for you. My biggest goals are to help you find joy, clarity, and ways to grow in your day-to-day life. To use a cliche: therapy is often described as a journey. I'm here to walk with you every step of the way until we reach the finish line. Send me an email or give me a call so we can take the first steps together. Let's go!
