With 25+ years of experience working as a Clinical Psychologist, I have learned that pairing a warm and empathetic environment with asking challenging and thought provoking questions is an effective way to allow people to explore their issues and empower them to make changes. Having been trained in relational models at the Modern Psychoanalytic and the White Institutes, I make real use of the therapeutic relationship to reflect back to my patients an accurate picture of themselves and how they interact in the world, which behaviors are effective at helping them to achieve their goals and which behaviors are standing in their way. Through the years, I have worked successfully in a variety of settings with adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma (sexual abuse, domestic violence), who are struggling with family conflict or parenting issues, and who are seeking to improve their relationship happiness.
