Ideal clients are people who realize they are struggling. They work up the courage to seek help even if it is scary or uncomfortable. People can have a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma. The list is endless! Regardless of the issues, everyone in counseling deserves to be in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment while they work through whatever is keeping them from living their best life. These clients want to feel better, live better, and cultivate personal growth. The underlying hope when choosing to seek counseling is to progress beyond the pain and celebrate the ability to overcome. I counsel teens, and adults. I understand the public school system, the special education/504 process, and have been trained to recognize child abuse and neglect. Anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and narcissistic abuse are areas where I specialize. This presents the opportunity to work with a wide array of individuals and issues. I believe in unconditional acceptance and respect for my clients. Acceptance is essential to building a working relationship. My own life experiences along with my education and training enable me to have a deep level of empathy for anyone struggling with life's problems. Let's tackle these problems together.
