About

Hello! I am Leah Ozment, LCSW. In my practice, I work with clients from all walks of life, with a focus on grief, traumatic grief, and mothers who have lost a child. My mission is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with hope. My approach is through Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, based on the idea that thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected, focusing on identifying and altering negative thought patterns to change an individual’s behavioral and emotional state.

I work with and support clients who are navigating various life challenges and seeking help with traumatic grief/child loss, PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, stress management, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. My clients are individuals who are ready to work through their struggles and achieve personal growth.

My journey to becoming a therapist has been deeply personal and shaped by life experiences that profoundly impacted me. The loss of my son, Thomas, in 2022 was a defining moment in my life. Navigating my own grief and healing process gives me an intimate understanding of the complexities of losing a child.
