My name is Lawrence Goldberg and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Over the past 38 years I have worked in a variety of settings and have helped individuals with a number of concerns including adjusting to difficult or traumatic experiences. I work with adults adjusting to major life events such as divorce, career change, conflict at work, health challenges and those who have been through trauma. I have experience utilizing tools that have been determined to be effective by research including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy. I take the time to truly listen and understand what my clients are facing. Sometimes this involves helping my client clarify and understand their options. After college I worked a number of years in management and Human Resources where I helped motivate individuals and aided in resolving work related concerns. I eventually returned to graduate school for another advanced degree this time in a helping profession and have experienced great satisfaction ever since.
