I believe that my effectiveness can be greatly attributed to an empathic way of seeking to understand and working together with individuals to find solutions that promote growth, healing and change. I have worked extensively with families, individuals and children/adolescents. Areas of emphasis in my practice are relationships, anxiety/stress, depression/anger, adjustments/life transitions and parenting. My background is diverse and I have also assisted others in social services, educational settings, hospice care and in the corporate/business world. In addition to counseling, my experience includes providing consultations and evaluations as well as professional presentations and training. I was asked to speak on OPRAH with regard to relationships, as well as on school reform. Sessions are generally an hour and fifteen minutes long. Initial sessions are an hour and a half in length. Longer sessions can be arranged. Daytime, evening and Saturday appointments are available.
