I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and I obtained my Master's Degree in Counseling from University of North Texas in 2017. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with adolescents and adults on a wide variety of issues including complex trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, personality disorders, as well as gender and sexual identity. I have experience working in a variety of settings, such as nonprofit organizations, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care that have helped shape my therapeutic approach. I use a variety of modalities to best fit your personal needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help dispute negative thinking patterns, as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help with emotional regulation strategies. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is highly effective in treating PTSD and trauma. I believe that a solid therapeutic foundation is built upon trust and connection and as such, I aspire to provide a warm, safe, and accepting environment for all. My therapeutic passion is to provide clients the necessary tools they need to build a life worth living.
