About

I believe that the therapeutic relationship and self-insight are key to change in treatment. My approach is warm but active, direct and honest. I especially appreciate the benefits of long-term, depth-oriented therapy, and I have years of experience using evidence-based psychodynamic treatment for anxiety, depression, eating disorders and relationship issues. I also recognize that sometimes therapy is not just about treating symptoms, but about helping a person exist and thrive within a challenging system-whether on a familial or societal level. Supporting MENA and SWANA identified clients is a particular area of passion for me.

I provide virtual psychotherapy for adults and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and relational issues. I especially enjoy working with life transitions, relationship difficulties, and identity development, and I specialize in the deep, exploratory work that leads to improved self-understanding, self-esteem and relationships.

I work in private practice on the border of Silver Lake and Echo Park, near Hollywood, Los Feliz, Atwater, Glendale, Eagle Rock, and Downtown Los Angeles. I am currently doing Telehealth sessions over phone or HIPPA compliant video, and am therefore available to meet by phone or video with patients located anywhere throughout California.
