My approach centers upon building an honest and trusting relationship without judgment in order for you to begin healing and exploration. I use a variety of therapy techniques while providing emotional support to you and helping you to observe your thoughts and how they influence your daily life in your relationships, decisions, and moods. I believe successful results are built upon the strength of the relationship between the therapist and the individual, as well as your own willingness to be open about your feelings and receiving help. I feel that positive and negative experiences present opportunities for learning and growth. I have experience counseling in several settings including outpatient private practice, in home family counseling and institutions. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Individuals that are battling drug and alcohol addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues or grief are welcomed for help. Veteran, first responders and LEO welcomed. Individuals in recovery seeking therapy must have 12 months sober and working a recovery program.
