Featuring a straight-forward and honest approach to the overwhelming task of learning to live a sober lifestyle, FACETS employs an understanding of the depth of emotional and physical pain and trauma leading to or caused by alcohol, substance use and by co-occurring mental health disorders. "Mindfulness, faith, spirituality and recovery spoken here." Inspired by a loved one's passion for geology, FACETS was formed with two main ideas in-mind: the notion that individuals are multi-faceted, but also that substance use disorders obscure one's inner beauty and clarity, such that individual therapy can be a "facet"--or aspect--of one's journey of recovery. The amethyst teardrop logo signifies the gemstone FACETS is built upon the power of hope that "prevention is effective, treatment works and recovery is possible."
