About

Many of my clients have learned that their experiences can be described as "trauma", and that trauma is often "stored in the body." These experiences can range from major life events, to buildup of chronic stress, to difficult relationships from the past. My clients often are curious how their early life, attachment with caregivers, or past relationships have affected them. Somatic and relational therapy can help to heal traumas of all kinds that are carried in our bodies and minds. My collaborative and flexible approach means that you have a voice in how we work on things together, and we go at a pace that works best for you.

I practice somatic and relational therapy. In a session, I help you use mindfulness to be with your internal experiences in a new way, from a place of groundedness. Whether we are processing trauma or discussing a minor stressor, we will track your nervous system to make sure you stay present and grounded. This approach is gentle, powerful, and accessible.

It is so important that your therapist is a great match for you. My clients tell me that I am both gentle and real, being my true self as a therapist. But the best way for us to know if we are a good fit for each other is to have a brief chat. Don't hesitate to set up a free phone consult with me to see if we align well!
