About

I am a clinical social worker who has worked in many arenas over the past 32 years. I have worked with children and young adults in hospitals managing psychiatric crises, worked in sexual assault clinics, domestic violence agencies and therapeutic schools. I view clients through their experiences, genetic predispositions and try to help them understand themselves better and appreciate who they are. I use laughter, art therapy, talk therapy and various modalities such at CBT and DBT.

I believe strongly in the initial evaluation and formulation of the treatment plan. Knowing your past and how it impacts your present is important in the beginning phase of treatment. I will refer back to this initial evaluation often to assist with growth and mindfulness of the hard work you are doing.

If you are on this site and searching for the perfect fit, then you have been through the difficult task of locating someone available who will meet your needs. I hope to provide a bit of that relief you are looking for.
