I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, and OCD in adolescents and young adults. After establishing a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship, I work with clients to identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, explore and connect with values, and change behaviors by building distress tolerance through approaching anxiety in a supported environment. I have extensive experiencing treating eating disorders, anxiety, and OCD at higher levels of care. I operate from a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework and utilize evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I take a warm, yet direct approach to therapy. I am down to earth and value humor as a part of the therapeutic process. I believe it is important to meet each client where they are at and tailor therapy to meet each individual's needs. I aim to create a safe space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.
