My path to therapy began at an early age. My own successful therapy experience led me to overcome traumatic events and lead a healthy, adaptive life, which eventually led me to the counseling profession and catalyzed my desire to help others work through life's difficulties. I always apply my past experiences—with trauma, with counseling, and in a professional setting —to understand my clients and help each one manage and overcome their presenting issues. I believe that anyone can benefit from therapy. We could all use some support in our journey to achieve positive change. My style is supportive, collaborative, compassionate and challenging. My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment that enables my clients to develop insight and hone skills to allow healing and personal growth. While I employ numerous approaches, I believe the relationship between therapist and client is absolutely paramount. I have experience working with individual adults dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, career/life transitions, parenting, trauma, and existential issues. I practice with a compassionate and non-judgmental heart and hope to guide and support you to a place of healing.
