About

I like creativity in therapy. And see therapy as a process. Although I know various techniques and am Gestalt-focused, I believe that it is you and I together who create and discover the unique path that moves you toward the place that you want to be.Each client has an existing energy and power of his or her own which will lead to a more meaningful life. We may lose access to or come to doubt that power at some point in life. I help clients re-connect to and access that power.

I believe body and mind are connected and know each other very well. Habitual ways of thinking, feeling, and sensing can be uprooted and reassessed, heightening our awareness of the body and mind working together. This awareness helps us live in the moment fostering a more grounded and productive life.

I practice Gestalt psychotherapy, Harm Reduction psychotherapy, and Somatic psychotherapy. I use techniques that are creative, experiential, exciting, and transformational like guided visualization, breathwork, chairwork, creative art, and body movement as well as traditional talk therapy.
