I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a specialty in the treatment of Eating Disorders. I work with adolescents and adults who are looking to develop the psychological insights, skills and strategies that are necessary to create positive and lasting change. Together, we will expand awareness of self and others, examine the underlying long-term issues that led you to seek therapy, and work toward creating a new way of coping with inevitable challenges. My role as Clinical Director of Monte Nido Manhattan's Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs involved oversight of all aspects of client care. This includes direct therapeutic intervention, initial and ongoing assessment and staff supervision. I completed training at the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia and am a certified Field Instructor. Because each client brings with them a history and experiences that are diverse and complex, flexibility in the therapeutic approach is essential. I draw from several different approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. I am available for consultation and initial assessment as well as ongoing treatment.
