About

Throughout life, we all gather scrapes, bruises, and cuts. We usually do our best to clean these wounds and move on. However, sometimes we're too busy, unable, or too nervous to tend to them properly, so we cover them up quickly. In the early stages of therapy, we may need to revisit these old wounds, gently unwrapping the bandages. By discussing these challenges, we can develop coping mechanisms that promote healing. Over time, what once hurt deeply can transform into a less visible scar.

As a therapist, I integrate Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to create a safe, relational environment which feels judgement free. Together, we'll enhance your interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and mindfulness, fostering growth and resilience.

A common myth about vulnerability is that it signifies weakness. Each morning, we emotionally "armor up" to shield ourselves from feelings of shame, anxiety, uncertainty, and fear. In my office, I aim to create a space where you can take a deep breath, let go of that armor, and feel safe to be yourself. Together, we’ll foster lasting changes in your life.
