About

My work includes helping clients know a sense of peace within, and increasing understanding about their sense of discontent, anxiety, or depression. This can show up in various ways, such as in relationship problems, anxiety, or old emotional pain. My style is to provide a safe place with a trauma-informed view to exploring client concerns in their path toward a life with a greater sense of wellness. Together we develop more healthy coping skills, ways of understanding troubled parts of the self, and methods to create a life of well-being and joy.

Sometimes our mind is not our friend. Indications that this is the case include the misuse of alcohol or other substances, or through other forms of reality or emotional avoidance distractions, such as the over-consumption of television. However, we can learn to use our minds to help us solve problems and find our peace.

My approach is to connect with genuine compassion and kindness, while also challenging old perspectives or ideas that can limit potential. These are some of the ways I help my clients gain a more comfortable and rewarding sense of self.
