About

I provide therapy for children, families and individuals. My approach is playful, creative and fun. I practice from a Social Work perspective, taking into account all of the relationships, stressors, strengths and support a person has surrounding them. My approach is a collaborative effort with parents, who bring the most important perspective and knowledge regarding their children. Working together will only make us more successful in creating real change. I utilize many therapeutic techniques, including Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Expressive Arts, Play, Sensory, Behavior Modification and more.

The goal of therapy is not to "fix", but to discover the personality, learning style, strengths and challenges that make us each unique. Getting to know yourself, and your child on a deeper level will strengthen relationships. We will explore sensory processing, strengths, and unhelpful scripts from the past so you can move forward confidently.

When working with children, parents are encouraged to participate in the process. Collaborative sharing of information empowers parents to parent in a new, confident and effective manner. The therapeutic journey is a partnership, between willing parents and kids (or adults) and myself where safety, honesty and open communication is honored.
