I am passionate about helping clients discover their truest selves, beneath the layers of life’s experiences, traumas, and negative beliefs. Through talking, we discover the problem… then we need to do something about it. Utilizing specific trauma release techniques such as somatic experiencing, EMDR, and mindfulness and therapeutic yoga, I have seen amazing shifts in a fairly short amount of time. Whatever your goal, we can work together to achieve balance and lasting change. In addition to my training as a clinical social worker, I draw from decades of experience with mindfulness, yoga practices and Eastern philosophy. I am certified in the Amrit method of Yoga Nidra and Level 1 Yoga Therapy. Exploring the mind-body connection is an integral part healing as we become, or reveal, our truth. As we explore, we will supplement traditional therapy with techniques such as mindfulness, imagery, aromatherapy, breath work, sound, and various yoga practices, as well as EMDR. The journey toward well being should be dynamic and fluid, molding to your unique experience, allowing for gentle growth towards your fullest potential.
