About

Therapy is a collaboration. I am present and relational in my work. I believe each person is innately their own expert and I am here to help that person tap into their own truths. I get to know you from a place of non-judgement. I listen to what symptoms are troubling you and will teach you skills to help relieve the suffering. Together we develop short term goals that build upon the strengths that you may have temporarily not been able to see. The long term goal is not to be in therapy forever, but for you to have the tools to thrive in your life!

I use many different interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused and Expressive arts. My theoretical background is in attachment and psychodynamic theories.

I am client centered, often reminding my clients that we follow your pace! I help you explore systems that are at play and attachment wounds. I understand that seeking help is a strength and I am honored to work with my clients. I also remind my clients that therapy is like stretching our emotional muscles, sometimes it is challenging!
