About

Most of my experience includes working with Veterans who identify behaviors that they want to change such as drug use or overeating. We also work together to identify personal coping skills and learn new ways to cope with difficult situations. Effective decision-making, building relationships, mood improvement, fostering relationships & stress management (i.e. meditation) are also incorporated to help you live your best life!

As a Veteran who works with Veterans translation of the military culture is not a barrier. For our mental, social, and psychological well-being needs it is important to be understood & to have someone to talk to whom you can trust. Trust is a gradual process that is built through consistent positive interactions over time.

As your clinician, I will listen and understand. I will ask questions as needed and defer judgment. I will share personal experiences when required to build trust and create a safe and inclusive environment for you. Building trust creates psychological safety. Together we will promote overall social functioning & foster positive relationships and outcomes.
