Hi! I'm Kristen, a licensed clinical social worker with just over a decade of clinical experience. Sessions with me are warm, direct and encouraging. I believe that we all deserve to live the life we want to be living and sometimes we need an ally to help us navigate the obstacles standing in our way. Whether you find yourself struggling with family conflict, social anxiety, low self-esteem, body shame, depression, substance use, career transitions, gender identity, decision making, self-harm, negative self-talk or any other completely normal human experience, I am here to help. My practice is heavily rooted in mindfulness-based interventions which allow us to become aware of our thoughts, emotions and physical self and create new relationships to what we are experiencing. This practice slows down the central nervous system and allows us to live fully according to our own authentic self, not our automatic processes. Telehealth only.
