It is inevitable that life is challenging and often times, we feel stuck and need reminders that we are not alone. As a psychotherapist, I understand that each client has a unique story of their own and that each client deserves tailored and individualized care. We will start by establishing what goals you would like to achieve in therapy and will then create a treatment plan collaboratively. I tend to pull from your strengths and values, and will work with you to unpack unhelpful thinking patterns and maladaptive behaviors and will explore alternative coping skills that will be more sustainable for you in the long run. I have many years of experience treating adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, suicidal ideations, self harm, and troubles with adjustments & life transitions. I have worked in various levels of care including inpatient, PHP/IOP, behavior focused programs, and the emergency room. Ultimately, I strive to embody empathy and warmth when interfacing with my clients, as I understand it can be daunting to be vocal about life's challenges and personal vulnerabilities. My approach is gentle, yet challenging, in order to motivate clients to reach their greatest potential. It's an honor to walk along side my clients.
