About

Hello! I specialize in helping adolescents and adults who have experienced stressful circumstances, trans and gender nonconforming people, and members of the LGBTQ+ community broadly. Clients work with me on concerns such as difficulty coping with stress or trauma, trouble managing emotions, difficulty relating to others, depression, anxiety, and gender dysphoria. They are typically looking to feel better about themselves, better-manage their emotional reactions, find more harmony in their relationships, and navigate difficult situations.

I provide a place to examine difficulties people are having closer and from different angles. I typically share a lot of my knowledge of how and why our brains work so folks have their own understanding. I also teach and incorporate different mindfulness and grounding skills to help manage distress around thinking and talking about stressful experiences.

I know finding a therapist can be difficult! If you’re interested, please reach out for a 15 minute phone call and we can discuss what you’re looking for and start getting to know one another. One of the reasons I do this work is because therapy has been helpful for me personally, and I hope to pass the gift along.
