If you are struggling with eating issues, anxiety, or depression, or if you are a loved one supporting a family member struggling with these concerns, I want you to know that there is help, and you don't have to struggle alone. As a therapist who has experience in a variety of treatment programs and levels of care, I have witnessed both individual and family transformation from feeling stuck and hopeless to feeling empowered and hope-filled countless times. My passion is joining you in your journey to provide support, insight, and tools to achieve your goals, feel better, and live a life of greater joy and meaning. My focus is on alleviating suffering associated with the full spectrum of eating issues and on improving one's relationship with food, body, and movement, as well as with self and others. This extends to co-occurring issues such as mood, anxiety, and substance misuse. My focus includes adolescents, young adults, parents, and families. My style is interactive and client-centered. I take a strengths-based approach and often integrate expressive interventions, such as art and humor, when appropriate. As humans, we need support, guidance, and connection. My hope is that therapy offers a chance to validate your humanness, "see" your pain, and help you see your potential.
