If school is a constant struggle, or if you wonder if there's something else going on, like ADHD, anxiety, depression, dyslexia or other type of learning disability getting in the way of learning, you may be frustrated. I provide diagnostic assessments that find the reasons that explain the difficulties, and provide necessary recommendations. I'm able to determine the presence of learning disabilities including dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, attention deficits such as ADHD, and other disabilities in order to provide solution focused recommendations and supports. I am a Licensed Educational Psychologist in Sacramento, CA, specializing in educational consulting and diagnostic assessment of students from elementary school through high school and college, including adult students. I determine the presence of intellectual and learning disabilities, memory, attention issues, including ADHD, anxiety and depression. The assessment can be shared with your child's school if you are seeking general accommodations (504 Plans or IEPs) or testing accommodations (for SAT, ACT or other exams such as the GRE, MCAT, LSAT, the Bar, etc.), as well as accommodations for college. The report can also be used for qualification for gifted programs such as GATE and MENSA.
