About

A collaborative perspective is important. That's why working together toward developing a good rapport and trust is needed in therapy. My style and approach includes warmth, sensitivity, honesty and humor, laughing is healing. Change comes with being understood, listened to and feeling comfortable. Healing starts with courage and wisdom and coming to therapy is a big step. Everyone's journey to healing is different, therefore I do my best to tailor treatment to fit your needs. Therapy works best when it engages the whole person, body, mind, emotions and spirit to assist in reaching the best outcome. Looking forward to meeting you.

My work draws on my training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing , Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Early childhood trauma protocol, Accelerated Resolution Therapy and I am person centered. I incorporate Mindfulness and Meditation. I also have training working with first responders.

I have twenty years of work in the field of mental health, licensed both as a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have worked in a variety of settings with a wide range of clients, with diverse backgrounds allows me to view clinical issues from a multi-layered approach.
