I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has 20 years of experience employing a Cognitive Behavioral Approach with adults, children, couples and families who have been struggling to cope with depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders, behavioral issues, ADHD, relationship issues and parenting difficulties. The Cognitive Behavioral Approach helps clients make positive changes in their lives by gaining more insight into their thinking and behavioral patterns. I provide real life tools to help my clients improve their coping skills, communcation skills, self esteem, stress management and parenting skills. I have always believed that if you want something to change, you have to change something. CBT can be extremely helpful. Together we will look at your perceptions of yourself and others as well as your communication styles and coping skills. The more proactive we become, the more change occurs. My approach to treatment is eclectic. CBT is my primary method of treatment, but I am flexible in working with clients to find the best method that will bring the most positive outcome. I offer a warm, friendly and empathic environment for anyone looking to improve their lives.
