Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Brent Brown quoted, "We don't have to do all of it alone, we were never meant to", and that's how I approach my work as a therapist. As a trauma-informed Social Worker and Grief Recovery Specialist, my goal is to foster a welcoming environment, where you feel safe, accepted, and supported while we sort out the challenges you are facing. Much of the work I do with my clients consist of trauma work, grief work, and coping through transitions. I have experience working with adults, adolescents and families, in a variety of settings and levels of care. I utilize an eclectic, strength-based approach while using CPT, EMDR, and/or DBT to structure sessions. I often incorporate holistic, person-in-environment perspectives and psychoeducation into my sessions. I view therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to reach your goals. I know the process of beginning therapy can feel daunting, maybe even taxing; I applaud you for taking the first step in your healing journey! I'm grateful for the chance to walk alongside you and be part of your support system.
